ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, which is part of French aerospace company Dassault Aviation SA’s factory-owned service centre network, has been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform line maintenance on Falcon 900 aircraft including the 900EX, 900EX EASy, 900DX and 900LX.
The latest certification means ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia now has FAA certification to work on all the latest Dassault Falcon aircraft as it is already certified to perform line and heavy maintenance on Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft, as well as the Falcon 2000 series aircraft.
In a statement yesterday, the Malaysian maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company said to further bolster its service offerings to clients, it has recently gained FAA approval to perform non-destructive testing and to recertify aircraft wheel assembly overhauls and repairs.
In addition, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has also certified ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia for Falcon types covering line maintenance on Falcon 2000EX, Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X.
“These additional FAA and EASA certifications reinforce our status as a leading MRO facility in the region for the Falcon range of aircraft and also highlights Malaysia’s status as a leading centre for MRO,” said Ivan Lim, regional vice-president for Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation.
There are more than 100 Falcon aircraft operating in Asia-Pacific.
ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia is certified by 10 civil aviation regulators from around the world including EASA, US FAA and the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
