Other Services – Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC)

MSC Malaysia Status

The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) was established to accelerate the growth of the country’s digital economy. It is a special economic zone designed to support the innovative ecosystem of IT and IT-enabled industries and the growth of the country’s digital economy.

MIDA works with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to drive the country towards digital adoption, digital entrepreneurship, and innovation. Companies that can contribute to these nation-building goals and meet the necessary requirements are granted the MSC Malaysia Status, which offers compatible tax incentives.

Total approved investments for MSC status in 2022 was RM5 billion, almost equally contributed by domestic and foreign investments and are expected to generate 7,763 job opportunities.
