Scientex Bhd plans to establish electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at selected locations within its housing developments in Malaysia.
According to a press statement issued on Wednesday (Aug 16), Scientex and Sime Darby Beyond Auto Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Motors and the sole distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, signed a memorandum of understanding on the same day to become preferred marketing campaign partners for Scientex’s Mori Residences 2 condominium project in Rawang, Selangor, which will be equipped with EV charging stations.
Their joint efforts also involve promoting widespread EV adoption and incorporating EV charging facilities into affordable housing developments, contributing to the nation’s cleaner and environmentally responsible future. To further inspire the public, they will run awareness campaigns and offer attractive incentives, making EVs and eco-friendly homes accessible to all.
In support of the EV initiative, Scientex plans to establish EV charging stations at selected locations within its nationwide housing developments.
