Malaysia is Aker Solutions’ Asia Pacific headquarters. We play a key part in Aker Solutions’ international strategy, providing solutions to a global customer base in regions such as Africa, China, India, the Middle East, Norway and South Korea. We have been established in Malaysia since 1987.

Aker Solutions’ team in Kuala Lumpur provides integrated solutions from subsea to the surface and through the life of an energy asset. This includes concept studies, front-end engineering, field design, maintenance and modifications, life-cycle services, production asset services and asset integrity management.

Our manufacturing centre in Port Klang is one of the largest subsea facilities in Southeast Asia. It is a one-stop shop for complete subsea production systems. Serving a global customer base, our integrated subsea equipment centre offers world class management of engineering, procurement and construction projects.

The facility develops products with advanced technology and intelligence which enable remote configuration, monitoring of product health and performing of diagnostics. The facility is also the global hub in manufacturing and delivering wellhead products to our customers worldwide. It is growing in the use of digital technologies to enhance the manufacturing processes, which increases speed, enhances quality and improves safety.
